As a society, we're not encouraged to slow down and feel our emotions. There's so much information now about healing ourselves and repairing our mental health, yet we still aren't told to priorise what we feel. π«Ά
Perhaps you know there's something that needs your attention, but you feel there's not enough time to process your emotions? Maybe it feels too scary to 'go there', for fear of the unknown buried pain that might be acknowledged?
Maybe it feels like you have too many other responsibilities to be able to do deep inner work on yourself?
When it comes to somatic practices like conscious connected breathwork, you can safely meet these emotions through your own inner resources.
Allow yourself to slow down and give space to what wants to be witnessed inside of you. Let yourself bring more love to those hidden parts, and allow yourself to be supported in that process. π«

As a society, we often glorify the amount of stress we can handle. It can sometimes feel like we don't have the time or space to love and prioritise ourselves.
Perhaps you feel guilt over putting yourself first, or worry about what might happen if you stop 'doing'? Yet we all know that pushing ourselves too hard, and going at too fast a pace, comes at a cost.
What if you were welcomed into a space where we celebrate slowing down and doing things softly instead? ππ»ββοΈ
In a busy world that often feels divided and thriving on chaos, creating more self-love is powerful for letting go of stress and fear. β¨
Disconnect from stressful thoughts and physical tension, in a safe container to meet your deeper emotions, truly ground yourself and feel like you again.
This two-hour event features written self-inquiry exercises, group discussion, somatic practices and conscious connected breathwork. π¬

Conscious connected breathwork can help you release stress in many ways:
π Access your parasympathetic nervous system (rest and repair state) and lower your cortisol levels
π Let go of physical and energetic tension, by bringing presence to stuck emotions
π Rest deeply; training our bodies to slow down supports our overall health and happiness
π Come back to your true self and your deep inner wisdom, rather than doubting yourself
π Give the overthinking mind a break by allowing yourself to feel
π Connect deeply with the body and listen to its messages through embodiment
There are many reasons we might resist or shame ourselves for being in stillness, or for loving ourselves just as we are. I have ADHD, for example, so I know how it feels to burn out under the self-inflicted pressure of productivity, overstimulation and fear of rejection. Read more about me (Becky), and my work, below.

As a somatic healing professional and trainee counsellor, I love helping people to rediscover their worth. Who is the host? π
This event is run by me, Rebecca Ryder (you can call me Becky), a fully qualified breathwork facilitator and founder of The Loud Quiet. My business supports curious heart-led souls on their self-discovery journey. Giving you permission to pause, nurturing your inner world and helping you come back to yourself.
I am fully accredited and carried out training in the UK, Mexico, Spain and Canada, holding space for and supporting participants from around the world. I now love bringing this work to local communities, creating reassuring, uplifting and relaxing spaces for healing and personal growth. π¬
Breathwork has been pivotal in helping me navigate neurodivergence, pregnancy loss grief, unravelling old pain and wounded stories, and feeling deeply disconnected from my body. I no longer feel overwhelmed by my emotions and know how to support myself with deep presence, day to day and during challenging times.
