Embody Your True Nature Retreat

Embody Your True Nature

A Summer Solstice Somatic Healing Retreat

Friday 18th June to Monday 21st June, 2027

St. Mark’s Stays, Sedbergh, Cumbria

Join us in this magical setting for three days of nourishing connection and spacious self-reflection. Reawaken your spirit in abundant nature and authentic community. Be compassionately supported to go within and return to self, through embodiment and emotional processing practices. Release stress and pain, and recover your innate wisdom, with conscious connected breathwork, somatic enquiry, meditation, yoga, and more.

UK Somatic healing retreat - yoga and breathwork

Want to feel restored and truly like yourself again?

Claim what your mind, body and soul intuitively long for, in a beautifully calming setting to listen inwards, prioritise your needs and come to life. Reconnect with the parts of you that have felt dimmed and depleted, and shine a light on what helps bring you back.

Receive the warm, non-judgmental support of an accredited, trauma-informed somatic practitioner. Nurture embodied, lasting self-trust deep within you, with gentle emotional work and nervous system regulation. These therapeutic practices help you meet your wounded parts by remembering how to feel again, rather than over-analysing. Somatic work is powerful for stuck emotions and pain, chronic anxiety, physical tension and illness.

The weekend will be thoughtfully planned so that you have free time to integrate and land in between practices, whether you need quiet solitude or to enjoy the group connection. We’ll soften into the present moment, pausing to luxuriate in the splendour of these breathtaking landscapes. The perfect setting to slow down and feel more grounded, hear your inner voice and unearth what’s ready to be released.

Bring your whole self; you deserve this, no matter what you’ve been through

Whatever you’re seeking, anticipating, currently moving through or bringing along, you’re welcome to show up exactly as you are. We’re human beings, not human doings. You won’t be expected to get anything ‘right’ or participate in anything you don’t want to.

This is a trauma-informed, small-group retreat with a focus on safety, consent, and gentle pacing. You’ll always be encouraged to listen inwards, trust yourself and let your body lead.

Self-acceptance comes from allowing ourselves to be human, rather than trying to optimise ourselves or perfect a practice.

“You alone are enough. You have nothing to prove to anyone.”
- Maya Angelou

Please note: My very friendly dog may be joining us (it will be his 16th birthday!); my partner will be looking after him while we’re in studio sessions. Let me know if you are nervous around dogs and we will be mindful to keep him out of your way.

Testimonials

“If you are struggling with ‘stuck emotions’ or are bothered about how certain experiences sit with you then don’t hesitate to contact @the_loudquiet. Becky creates and holds a safe and secure space for you where you can feel totally at ease to let your guard down and be utterly vulnerable, of course this can feel uncomfortable but Becky is with you, and guides you through the emotions that may come up through any replayed experiences. The huge relief and feeling of letting go is so liberating and can be quite emotional but also very therapeutic ~ I’m currently working alongside Becky and have learnt so much about my inner child, being curious and self exploration to gently help to ease out stored trauma over many years, it’s truly amazing. BIG thanks Becky ❤️”

“Becky held me as I walked through the emotions I felt when I’m triggered. She kept holding me until I could get to the point I could sit beside my younger self. What I took away was how deep that emotion was and how much it affected me for so long. I was able to get to the point that I could love those fractured pieces. She was able to hold me and take me to a very deep place. I felt seen and acknowledged; I felt love from her, and acceptance. So helpful! Life changing session.”

“The Loud Quiet holds such a calm, supportive atmosphere where you can properly slow down and reconnect with yourself. It felt warm, thoughtful and very real – not performative wellness. I left feeling lighter and really grateful for the experience.”

“A truly beautiful sequence of nurturing activities delivered with understanding, authenticity & clarity. Emotions came up for me in the space. Becky showed me kind recognition of my feelings & compassion.”

“Really recommend this, Becky is amazing. Her group sessions have really helped me to reduce my overthinking head and manage stress better.”

“ Having attended one of Becky’s sessions, I wish I had found it years ago. I’m sure that everyone’s experience of breathwork is unique to them, but I cannot believe that it won’t be a really positive and really beneficial one for anyone. Becky was lovely, as well as clearly being skilled at what she does. My individual experience? it was quite unbelievably emotional and I feel that something has been unlocked that hopefully won’t go ‘back in its box’. I am so grateful and I’ll be back for more, without fail. Thank you Becky.”
