It’s great that people are learning more about the power of somatic work and embodiment practices. I’ve really noticed in 2026 that more people than ever seem to be finding out about somatic therapy, as an alternative to traditional talk therapy.

Option 1: somatic enquiry

What is it?

This is somatic therapy for a deeper, truer, embodied understanding of triggers, old patterns and core wounds. In a two-way, experiential dialogue, I gently enquire and guide you as we give space to your emotions and sensations. Clarity emerges through presence, as we talk through your bodily experience moment by moment. Healing isn’t forced; it arises naturally, without intellectualising, overthinking or explaining why you feel what you feel.

Option two: conscious connected breathwork

What is it?

You follow a conscious connected breathing pattern, as a resource to support you in safely feeling and processing emotions, releasing stress and stuck tension in the body and nervous system. Your breath helps you attune to your felt sense and detach from the thinking mind, surrendering to the body with intuitive movement (or stillness), to music. It opens deeper layers of awareness and encourages regulation.

Where do sessions take place?

I run 1:1 sessions online and in-person. In-person sessions are in East Didsbury, Manchester, UK.

So we can meet on Zoom, you can come to me, or I may be able to come to you by arrangement (dependent on distance).

If you’re curious about both, you can also choose to combine breathwork and somatic enquiry, if you’re doing a course of sessions. Block bookings of four sessions have a built-in discount.
